UPDATE - Network Inventory Advisor 3.6 has been released

    We have just updated our mainstream product Network Inventory Advisor to version 3.6. Here's the list of improvements:

    • INTRODUCED: new option to skip re-scanning when building custom and predefined reports
    • INTRODUCED: detection and decoding of monitors Plug'n'Play IDs and manufacturer into readable format
    • ENHANCED: hardware changes report is built every time the changes are detected after scanning to prevent data overlapping
    • ENHANCED: the installer package is now totally Unicode-compatible, installation doesn't fail in some localized paths
    • ENHANCED: more options are available when multiple nodes are selected for batch editing
    • ENHANCED: you can now specify the number of attempts for the agent utility to connect to the server when uploading inventory data
    • ENHANCED: scanning from wizard now takes snapshot age into consideration
    • FIXED: issues scanning SNMP devices
    • FIXED: custom login can now be added to the root nodes as well
    • FIXED: custom data adding and editing is improved
    • FIXED: by default scanning maximum is set into 8 threads in Windows XP to prevent delays in scanning
    • FIXED: improvements in localized installer
    • FIXED: the node is not scanned if it has an empty IP
    • FIXED: some bug fixes
