Corrupt common.xml

    Hi Everyone

    I really love the product firstly, the reporting and functionality are top-notch. I am however experiencing an issue the corruption of the common.xml file, this is the file that is responsible for the rendering of the inventory tree.

    From what I can tell the issue happens when the application is running and the computer is restarted. I can restore the file from a backup and the application is fully functional. If anyone has an idea on this one please comment.

    We were hunting for this bug for quite a while before and after the release of version 3.5. Good news: it's fixed by now. I e-mailed you the link to the beta version with the fix.

    Well... the beta version I sent you is a bit newer. Versioned 3.5.935 (for today). Can you e-mail us at help@clearapps.com so we could send you the link again?

    i have just suffered this very problem
    but i have not got a backup of common.xml
    advise please

    Dear Paul,

    Please perform the following:

    1. Close Network Inventory Advisor.

    2. Go to Information folder -> __backup__ folder -> rename the most recent file to common.xml and put it in the Information folder.

    3. Try to launch NIA.
