Not sure if this is already available as I've not been able to find the options for it but it would be beneficial to be able to search for assets already added to network inventory advisor.
We currently have about 350 machines in the system and while they are nicley grouped by machine type and department (due to our AD structure) it would make finding certain machines easier if we could just search for a machine name and then click into the details of that macine.
is this already possible or can I request it as a feature in fuure releases?

Nope... not yet. Network Inventory Advisor 4 will have it :)

Another one I forgot to ask about previously, When a machine is deleted from the AD it seems to acknowledge this in NIA (the information is gone) the machine name still appears in the network tree. Is there a way to automatically have NIA delete the node once it is deleted from the AD?

Well, that's a different feature of course. I'll have more details on it within a couple of days. I'll update this conversation then. This is also planned, however, currently collected info should not be deleted.
