Excluding particular nodes from scanning

    Our network contains just over 200 nodes, but we would like to know if there is a way to exclude some of these nodes (e.g. Windows XP virtual machines, printers, etc) from scanning and counting against our alloted number of nodes.

    Why not scan them in portions and remove unnecessary nodes manually? You can use pre-defined IP ranges for that. Alternatively you can load the list of IPs using a text file.
    Unfortunately, there's no way to exclude some nodes from scanning based on their properties.
