i have noticed that when i do a network scan of groups of computers , which in my case is site based, then some computers are getting stuck for sometimes an hour on "retrieving installed security software", is there a reason for this
It is happening no matter which site i choose, so i do not believe that it is a bandwidth problem

Dear Paul,
Please, try to scan your assets using auto-deploying agent utility. Go to Settings -> Connection tab -> "Scan Using" -> disable "Try both connection methods if one fails" checkbox and enable "auto-deploying agent utility (SMB)" option.
Let us know the test results.
