now when you released Macs inventory option, it shouldn't be called PC Inventory Advisor any more, right eah? It should be Mac/PC Inventory Advisor; or anything to mention macs! As it is my primary usage case now!!

I would propose naming it IT Assets Inventory. or simply ClearApps Net (Network) Inventory. We implemented your solution, and it is working fine. Still have some issues to clarify, which will post in the other thread.

I'm real late here, but PC means "Personal Computer", so a Mac is also a PC technically.

gb, that reminds me of Apple's ad: "i'm a Mac"-"and i'm a PC"... so I assume Mac community do not consider their Macs to be their Personal Computers, still... who knows.
