You can run a report telling you whats installed but there doesn't appear to be a way to run a report to see what new things have been installed or uninstalled.
Is this possible or can it be added? Its very handy for end of month or trimestral reports to show whats been going on in terms of upgrades, installs and patching.

As you might noticed, there's a hardware changes report. Software changes tracking will be available in one of the upcoming releases.
If I can add a couple of extra bits to this request.
- To be able to specify date ranges to allow running reports showing updates in the last month, or trimester or similar.
- To be able to include or exclude certain apps or categories or apps. This would be to distinguish OS patches from users installing their own apps.
Think of a meeting with a client where you discuss two issues
1) Users installing pirated or unauthorized software on their machines
2) Summary of work carried out patching machines over the last month
Some means to be able to export the report to Excel for manual filtering and reformatting.
Thanks for these ideas, I'm posting them internally for consideration now. As for patching the network machines, we will be adding patch management features to our software shortly.
Yes... actually both features are under development now. Generally speaking, NIA reports applied patches and hotfixes now, but that's not of much help, as reporting not applied/missing patches would be the real power, so that's what we are working on now: reporting of missing hotfixes and centralized initiation of their downloading and applying. The upcoming build will not have this feature available, but the next one will.
It is. If everything goes well with the next dev phase, this report will be available in version 3.9
Just checked the prices for Belmanage - uuuh! I'm talking to our devs on the software changes report now. I'll update you shortly. We are definitely targeting it. If you are interested in switching to Network Inventory Advisor, don't forget to email me to apply for competitive upgrade, which is 50% OFF btw.
