Definitely YES! This is the feature we are working on at the moment.
Hi Ian, just wanted to let you know that version 3.8 features ActiveDirectory integration.... finally. Did you try it?
Sorry I never responded. I didn't recieve an alert for your update. Well the AD integration does indeed work, sort of.
What I see is that it displays nodes in the wrong ou. I.e a pc which is in domain->company->computers->PCs->site1 shows up in domain->domain controllers
Checking this now
Tested the same issue in our lab. Everything works fine. Can you launch ADExplorer (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963907), expand all nodes and take a screenshot of the expanded network tree? Send it to us, please: help@clearapps.com
I was doing screen copies when I realised whats going on.This client has quite a lot of boxes and we have:
ou=domain,ou=domain controllers, ou=site1
for the domain controllers *and*
ou=domain, ou=company, ou=computers, ou=PCs, ou=site1
for the PCs
the key being that the final ou has the same name. In NIA the Pcs which are in site1 appear under the tree ou=domain, ou=domain controllers, ou=site1
Ian
We were able to reproduce the bug. Fixing it now.
